Chapt5 says: The “ii” was from “iichan.ru”, where this whole thing once started. After we released a few episodes, we decided to distantiate ourselves from iichan, so “ii” now means “いい”, that is, “good”. I don’t know what II in “iichan” meant though.

Leopard says: II in “iichan” is probably the Roman number II = 2.
