hi again guys, I’m glad I can write a new release post again!
have no idea what should i tell you here, tho 😉
PS totally forgot, those who are using .ass please install fonts we included to archive.

HA-HA SO SLOW.
#2 by anon on June 14, 2009 - 2:30 am
Instead of having them in a zip file on the side, why not put the fonts as attachments to the MKVs.
They will be dynamically loaded and used by every player or codec that supports proper SSA.
A lot of people don’t even know how to install fonts.
A quick v2 would be great. Or I can load up mkvtoolnix and remux them with the fonts as mkv attachments myself.

Anon, thanks for suggestion, but we always got fonts muxed in mkv 🙂
zip files contain fonts for those who download .ass
#4 by anon on June 14, 2009 - 2:34 am
Ah, ok, I read too quickly, sorry about that.
Keep up the great work !!!
#5 by anon on June 14, 2009 - 2:36 am
By the way,
I was wondering if II-Subs has an IRC channel with XDCC bots.
I prefer XDCC to BT as far as downloading stuff goes.
Thanks,
#6 by Alva [II-subs] on June 14, 2009 - 2:39 am
unfortunatly we havent any XDCC bots, we are not even using IRC channel.
a problem is that we haven’t got anyone who can maintain them.

Thanks so much, guys. You’re fucking legends!
#8 by Anonymous on June 14, 2009 - 3:50 am
thanks for the release but you are still two episodes behind :C it would be nice if you could release episode 22 faster as well.
#9 by boneknocker on June 14, 2009 - 3:59 am
It nearly end now for this show. I fully hope when II-subs finish the final episode then this group will consider to subs episode 1-9 too.
#10 by Sung on June 14, 2009 - 4:41 am
THanks guys, I know you guys are behind but I prefer this sub than the other ones.
Keep up the good work

[II-Subs] Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo 21 [720p][h264][BCE47E3].mkv
The CRC in the file name is wrongly tagged.
It should be 0BCE47E3 instead of BCE47E3, the 0 is missing 🙂
A CRC32 has 8 hex characters, not 7,
Just thought I’d point this out.
Not a big issue, but an official comment on the blog might be worthwhile.

Hi guys and my compliments for your work. Maybe someone else asked this but… aren’t you going to translate the missing scenes in the extended version of episode 1?
#13 by Alva [II-subs] on June 14, 2009 - 3:59 pm
we will think about ep 1-9 translation after last episode will be subbed.
#14 by adamJ on June 14, 2009 - 5:24 pm
I think there are mistakes in the subbings right? Some parts don’t really fit in to what the characters said.
#15 by Alva [II-subs] on June 14, 2009 - 5:29 pm
we translate japanese speech, not our imagination.
if you know japanese feel free to point us at places where we’ve made mistakes.
or you can ask scenarist/director/original creator why some phrases don’t feet your point of view.

Keep up the great work. Thank you very much for taking the time and efford of subbing and releasing stuff. 🙂
#17 by Teufel on June 14, 2009 - 10:27 pm
Thanks for the great subs, well worth the wait. Keep up the good work.

Shit. You’re doing a great job, yet so many are complaining. I’ll never understand such people. In Poland that would be hard to imagine to criticise somebody for doing something good for free. Don’t listen to those who think the world resolver around them. Your subs are great.
Is there a possibility that you will keep subbing other series when SwKS. ends? Maybe there is a possibility of you subbing Mouryou no Hako? It’s interesting animé yet nobody finishes it.
#19 by chapt5 on June 15, 2009 - 1:19 am
There could be mistakes since sometimes we have to guess, but there shouldn’t be too many of them. My estimation is three to five doubtful lines in the episode 21. Anyways, if you know japanese, why don’t you come help us as quality checker? That would be helpful.
#20 by Alva [II-subs] on June 15, 2009 - 2:19 am
hey Would!
calm down a bit, its ok if somebody will criticise us, – we always ready to improve quality of our releases 🙂
thanks, we really appreciate your support!
I can’t really say what are we gonna do after SwKS will end, since this team appeared because we all like sora wo kakeru shoujo. I am pretty sure we will continue to translate something, but can’t say what it will be at this moment.
Speaking about Mouryou no Hako, i heard that there is very difficult language, and even experienced translators got problems with it. It looks pretty interesting tho…
#21 by adamJ on June 15, 2009 - 12:46 pm
Oh no no.. don’t misunderstand me. I’m not criticizing anyone but just pointing out that there are mistakes. I do appreciate what II-Subs is doing. My Japanese is not very good either but I know some parts (not really important ones) might have mistakes. Not really many too, just one or two only though. Sorry if I’ve caused so much confusion/trouble here.
#22 by adamJ on June 15, 2009 - 12:47 pm
By the way thanks II-Subs

Whaaaaaaaat? (;-_-)
#24 by chapt5 on June 15, 2009 - 8:17 pm
No problem at all. I think that having somebody point out your errors is better than when people keep silent about your mistakes, allowing you to remain ignorant of them.
That’s why I suggested you to come help with QC. This way if you have a point, you’ll actually help raising a quality of releases.
#25 by gab on June 16, 2009 - 4:10 am
Just wondering, is anyone else getting only half the translations when the boxes are texting? I’m watching the 720p MKV file, and only the front half of the translations appear in that part.
#26 by MCC on June 16, 2009 - 7:07 pm
(re)Install CCCP, but first remove the codecs you have now.
#27 by owq on June 19, 2009 - 7:32 pm
Disable subtitle buffering if you’re using media player classic/home cinema. i.e. set to 0
#28 by Zalis on May 10, 2010 - 7:53 pm
I know you guys are too busy to sub and all that. But would you be able to spare a little bandwidth to seed the 480p version of episode 21? It’s got a seed, but the estimated time to completion is over a month 🙁
I ask because I’m trying to compile a mixed-group 480p torrent for all the people like me who can’t or don’t want to play the HDTV or Blu-Ray versions. And I’d rather not throw gleam’s XviD version in there if at all possible.
