Why don’t you release both 720p and 480p versions? ’cause you know, 720p >>>> 480p :3

Sorry for double post, but I overlooked dragon’s post. He has a point. If anybody will want a 720p version they can simply use a raw and softsubs

I see the good intentions in releasing the 480p release, considering not everyone has computers that can run videos smoothly, such as myself. I have a gaming computer, and for whatever reason, it can’t play anything past avi and 480p without lag. Though, a 720p release would be nice in the future, since I’ve been saving them for when I get a better computer for videos AND gaming.

480p already look good, i think. it also make the video easily playable on slow PC 🙂

btw for those who want 720p
1. you can download a 720p raw, or
2. you can use FFDShow or vobsub/vsfilter (the green arrow thing) to resample/upscale/

Thanks for the fast releases but..

They’re certainly not upscales by the raw encoder/provider since the transport streams are HD. Might be upscales by the station–although it doesn’t look like it–but it still looks WAAYY better than taking an already lossy 2nd gen encode (i.e. 1st encode = mts, 2nd encode = yours) at 480p then upscaling that on playback.

Seriously, there’s a noticeable difference between taking the 480p version then stretching it on playback to 720p instead of just starting out with a nicely filtered 720p version.
